BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Here are pictures of the girls on the first day of school. I can't believe that summer went so fast. I might even have some summer stuff I didn't blog about, but I guess its too late now.

Jerika started 8th grade this year and Kinlee started 3rd grade. The both had a pretty good first day. I even got a little teary, because next year Kinlee will be in middle school and Jerika will be in high school. Time is just flying by!!

I decided this year that I am VERY glad that Jerika is still about a head taller than all the boys her age, because they would all be knocking down our door on a regular basis. (Even if I do say so myself, she is pretty cute!)

Kinlee is doing amazing in school!! She is so smart and doesn't really need much help at all with her homework.
I am just thankful that I have such amazing kids!!!!!

Sharp Family Pictures

Wow, we have been busy the last few weeks!! We had our big Sharp Family reunion the first weekend in August, so we took the opportunity of having most of us together to take our family pictures. My friend Becky met us at the park before the reunion and helped me take pictures of all of us (that way I didn't have to run into position). Thanks Becky!!
We are missing Brycen (Blake's oldest son) and Tyler.

Thanks Kelsie for getting all of the adults to smile. It was tough work, but someone had to do it.

Grandkids

US! A little off balance, but that isn't anything out of the ordinary.

Stay tuned for pictures of ALL the Sharps that came to the reunion. We hadn't been together since grandma died, which was when Jerika was about 3 or 4, so roughly 10 years ago.

Girls camp

I just got a new calling as Personal Progress Specialist in the young womens. I had my calling about 2 weeks when they asked if I was going to girls camp. Most of you know how I love the outdoors, which is not at all. So, I asked them what they were doing the first day and they said hiking and the I asked what they were doing the second day and they said canoeing. Not wanting to seem like a really bad sport, I asked what they were doing the third day and they said crafts. So, I said I would go the third day. I actually went up the second night and stayed 2 nights. It was really fun to be there with Jerika and it really wasn't that bad sleeping in a tent.

This was me and two of the other leaders, Joceylyn Kam and Suzette Gee, they were amazing!!

This is all of the leaders and all of the girls, minus a couple who had to leave the night before.

Jerika and I with our matching shirts. The theme was Seeking Our Savior. Thank goodness for headgear we were looking pretty scarey, okay I was scarey, Jerika looked good and she had been there much longer than I.

Jerika and her friends spent most of their spare time down by the river, at least we never had to look for them, they were always in the same spot.

Helping with lunch, which I might add was amazing and so were the dinners!! We had lasagna one night and dutch oven chicken and potatoes the next night. It was a really fun time had by all and all the girls in the ward are amazing troopers.

My first wedding.......

My amazing friend Melissa just got married and wanted me to take her pictures for her. Well she had more faith in me than I did, so I told her to hire another photographer. Anyway, after the "real" photographer left, I got to take the fun pictures. Here are a few of the 535 that I took and can't wait to scrapbook with you Melissa.

Silly Bride, we have the same sick sense of humor!!

My cute niece!!

My neice gave me the pleasure of taking her Sr. pictures while she was here for two weeks. Here are just a few out of the 1,000 pictures we took. These aren't her favorites, but personally some of my own. I can't believe my brother is old enough to have a senior, he must be really old. Thanks Ash, it was a lot of fun!!

I was trying to think the other day what I should call my little photograph business and I came up with "Just Shoot Me" photography. I thought it was pretty catchy, even if I do say so myself. Anyway, if you need pictures done for anything, call me or email me.
None of these photos are photoshopped, which I think makes them look even better, once again just my opinion.

My babies are getting so big!!

And.....it seems as if I might need to get a life. I am sure blogging a lot lately. I think that is because I have been taking a lot of pictures the last few months. However, people are going to thank me someday because I took a lot of pictures. Say what you want and complain about me taking pictures, but mark my word, you WILL thank me. All that aside, here are some pictures of my girls. These were all taken within 2 blocks of our house. We didn't have to go too far for great backgrounds. Aren't they cute?

Feeding the "Fish"?

After we left Greg & Tiff, we thought it would be fun to go to Big Springs and feed the fish. Well, to our surprise, there were no fish, you fee the seagulls instead. Which the girls liked just the same, so it didn't really matter to them.

Then we went to Macks Inn and they waded in the very cold water there. All in all it was a really fun day and it is amazing the fun and beautiful places we have to go right in our own "back yard".
