Obsessed

I have this really weird obsession with Steve Harvey and The Family Feud.  During the regular season there are 2 new episodes on every day.  This is just one very good reason I don't think I would be able to get rid of regular television.  I know super weird, but I Love It.

Snowy Winter

This was the best picture I could get of Brandon helping Ray with both of them in the picture.  Brandon was so nice to come over with his 4 wheeler to help clear this stupid snow out of our now massive driveway.  With the renters here we have to shovel half of the front yard grass too.  Poor Ray has been shoveling and snow blowing like crazy this winter (more snow blowing than shoveling because of his poor back).  Once again our friends to the rescue.

There is so much snow this year and it really just won't stop.  I think it really is starting to make me grumpy.  I know I chose to live here but I can't explain how depressing this is starting to get and I am not the one shoveling.  I really try to not be in it at all.

Crazy News

Valentine's Day

I am not a huge fan of holidays.  I don’t know what it is, whether its the pressure of
spending money I don’t have or what.  I don’t decorate for anything except
Christmas and that is very minimal. Then people post on social media
their fancy galentine parties and say things like, “so and so knows how to throw a party”.
Well, guess what...if my husband made as much money as so and so’s husband maybe
I could stay at home all day and just have fun parties for everyone with their personalized
cookies and special gift. Anyway, I kind of had a bad attitude to start the day and then I
decided I would be the better person and not think creepy thoughts.
Danna at work’s birthday is on Valentines day, poor girl. So, I decided to go to the
Chocolate factory and get her a caramel apple and then I thought since
I am here I will get my mom one and my dad some fudge and I might as well get
Kinlee an apple too. Ray had just told me a few nights before he was craving
cupcakes from Broulims so I went and got that for him.  Then I thought what the
heck I will transfer some money into Jerika’s account for valentines
too. At the end of the work day I was feeling pretty good because I had done stuff
for others. And I might mention here that I didn’t get anything for myself
at either of those places. I am doing a diet challenge which really is a totally
different post for the different day.  When I got home after work Tiffnie had brought
me a cookie and a heart shaped pizza so that is what Ray and I had for dinner.
Then my ministering sister brought me a treat and our
renters brought us sugar cookies. People are so thoughtful. So, all in all it was a
pretty good day maybe next year I can have a better attitude at the beginning
of the day. And maybe I can host a galentine party next year at my house
and make something fun for everyone.

Shot in the Spine

So today's adventure was just that AN ADVENTURE.  We went to Mountain View Hospital for Ray to get a shot in his spine.  His back still hurts him all the time along with all of his other issues and ailments.  They are doing construction on the hospital so actually getting inside was an adventure in itself.  But we got in and got it done and he is actually feeling better than we thought he would.  Last time he got one of these shots he ended up staying in the hospital overnight.

Then tonight we had New Beginnings for our Young Women.  It is Kinlee's last New Beginnings and she spoke about earning her medallion.  She did a really goo job.  I put in my phone to take pictures of the girls but I didn't do it even though I put in a reminder.  I am losing it.

I am really trying to love my new ward.  I don't think that I don't actually love the ward but that I miss my old friends from that ward.  When you don't go to church with them you don't ever see them and that is hard.  I am excited that Allisa is in my ward and that the Pinnocks are still with us and Bonnie too, but I do miss Amanda and Mary and Lori and the list could go on, but I just need to man up and deal with it.  I really miss my relief society presidency and the time we spent together.  But, our bishopric is amazing and I am making new friends too.  The church is true so that is what is most important, right?

Superbowl Party at Stoddards

We had quite the crowd at our Superbowl party this year and the we ALL wanted to win didn't win and we only wanted them to win because we DIDN'T want the other team to win.  We ate lots of food and worked on a puzzle.  Kinlee and Kylie left to get McKay so we didn't get pictures of them.  And do be honest I didn't even take ANY pictures.  Tiff took all of these.

We played with Sophie for a lot of the game.  And I did help with the puzzle too.  I know shocking.

Siri John's mom was there too and I think she must have snuck out of each of these pictures.

Once again I have the best friends and we have so much fun when we are together.
And we have the most amazing kids too.

I LOVE SNAPCHAT I can do my life story on it

Kinlee visits Utah State

I stole Kinlee's counselors pictures off Instagram from their trip to Logan.  Right now Kinlee has decided to keep working and then serve a mission.  So she will go to college when she gets home.  I still can't believe she is a Senior.  Life is going to be changing a lot around our house.

Random thoughts & memes

Life really has been a struggle the last few months, but I know it could be worse.  Some things that make my life a little better on hard days are things I see on social media.  I love the church thoughts and the ones that help give me a boost for the day.  I also love the funny ones.

Jerika posted this one and tagged me in it.  I showed Kinlee and she didn't think it was as funny as the rest of us did.  Kinlee really is a good girl.  Jerika just doesn't see her good side when she's around.

Sophie Stoddard came to visit

Greg & Tiff brought Sophie over to meet Jake.  I really tried to get pictures but they both were moving so fast that I couldn't even get a decent picture.  I think they will be BFFs lol.  Tiff won't let us breed them together though.  I think it would make the cutest puppies.
