2017 really stinks so far

I am going to post about the wedding very soon. I am so behind on my blogging but just wanted to vent for a minute. I really am thankful and know things could be worse but today I am having a little pity party.

I Love to See the Temple

After Jerika got her makeup done we picked her up and we went as a family to the temple. It was so cold that we were all freezing but it was beautiful. Then we got to the temple and realized that Jerika forgot the marriage license. So Ray had to go back home and try to find it. He made it back to the temple just in time. The sealing was gorgeous and it was amazing seeing my daughter sealed to her eternal companion. We love Cade and his family.

The day is finally here. Getting ready

Christmas Eve a Week Early

Since the whole family was going to be here for Jerika's wedding mom and dad decided to do Christmas Eve the night before the wedding.  Well, almost everyone made it.  The weather was horrendous and KaReena and her family didn't make it.  The Utah people came but it took them much longer to get here, thank goodness they all came together.  We were just glad everyone was safe.
We all ate a lot of food and mom wanted to have a dance instead of the usual parts on the program, so that is what we did.  Some of Nakia's littles were sick, hence some of the masks.  Poor kids were troopers, even though they didn't feel good.
I realize this is a lot of pictures, but I just couldn't decide and that will most likely be the continuing theme on most of the posts that will follow.

As you can see some people were more excited about dancing than others.  Some had to be drug to the dance floor, silly Jesse.  Mom had written another right left story for our game and it was so much fun!!  We had a really great night.  Oh, and I can't forget to mention the tree, it was a real tree and mom had made gingerbread men for the tree with all of our names on them.
