This is the small article we had put in our local newspaper about the kids reception.
We were having to spray paint some of the center pieces, they were rusted springs from an old bed made into picture holders. They were super cute but we decided we wanted them black instead. Cade was such a trooper with all the extra crap we made him do in the few weeks before the wedding.
We are having Italian Sodas at the reception so when Nakia went to Winco we had her pick up several 2 liter bottles of Sprite, and this wasn't even all of them.
Dippng pretzels was quite entertaining. We had several people actually participate in this activity. I even paid a college girl who needed extra money one Saturday to some help clean and dip pretzels.
Then we went to mom's house one night and made mints. This was at my house after we brought them all home in a container and they were sticking together, so I dumped them all out on the table.
This was actually published in the paper before the other announcement, but you know my phone...everything isn't always in order. But, they list all the marriage licenses and so I had to cut this out also and save it. We are so excited for all of this to happen and to be done, it has been so busy in our world, but we love Cade and wouldn't have it any other way.
Jerika decided to go through my Christmas stuff to see if there was anything she wanted to take for herself to decorate her house. All of the other stuff behind her is all wedding stuff, my house is so disorganized. I almost didn't want them putting up Christmas because that just added to the madness, But, we had to be festive too.
