Tyler is home

When I take pictures on my cell phone and download them to blogger, I can't pick to order or I would have put one of the pictures of Tyler on first.

That being said, I should explain who this person is next to Jerika.  His name is Dallyn and he is Jerika's boyfriend.  Now that she is 18, Ray has let her start reffering to him as such.  He is really a joy and so good to Jerika.

Ordering graduation stuff

We had to go out to the high school the other night to pay for the rental of Jerika's cap and gown.  Sadly, this is beginning to get a little too real for me.  My little girl is growing up way to fast.  I am actually close to tears while typing this.  It was $40.00 to rent her cap and gown, which also almost brought me to tears, that just seems like a lot of money.  Maybe it seems like a lot because there have been many thing already we have had to pay for this year.  But, it is worth every penny.
I just LOVE this girl!!

Aunt Afton's Obituary

Afton Ruth Neibaur Wasden was born Nov. 22, 1928, to Daryl and Sophie Neibaur in Newdale, Idaho. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Idaho Falls. Afton was born and raised in Newdale and on the dry farm at Canyon Creek. They worked hard but also had lots of fun. She layed high school basketball and liked to tap dance. She met the love of her life, Rex Wasden, when she attended Sugar-Salem High School. They were married June 11, 1947, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived most of their life in the Sugar City and Salem area, where they raised their six children. After Rex passed away, she moved to St. Anthony. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings, including the mission she and Rex served in Dallas. Picking huckleberries was her favorite summer pastime, and she always knew where the best patches were located. She could track any spot on the mountains and loved the time she spent there. She also loved to quilt and every family member, plus many others, benefited from this special talent. Her greatest love and joy was her family and she loved spending time with them. She loved a good party. She was very proud of her six children, 39 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and they will surely miss her. She is survived by her children, Ramona (Randy) Roberts of Salt Lake City, Kelly (Bronwynn) of Salem, Ann Banta of Ephraim, Utah, Marla (Scott) Colson of Mackay, Tammy Bauer (Don Ker) of Teton City and Shellie (Monte) Newman of Egin; brother, Grant Neibaur of American Falls, Idaho; and sister, Joyce Schofield of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; son, Wendell; sons-in-law, Randy Bauer and Brent Banta; two great-grandbabies; brothers, Merritt Neibaur, Bruce Neibaur, Mack Neibaur, Warren Neibaur and Darwin Neibaur; and a sister, June West. A viewing will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Henry's Fork Stake Center, 1508 S. 3000 North in Salem, with a viewing one hour prior to services.

Quick Utah trip

I downloaded these from my phone and they are obviously in no particular order....especially the right order. If I get a wild hair, I will fix it later, but for now this is how they will stay.
Shelby was talking in church Sunday so the 3 of us girls loaded up and invaded mom and dad's trip to Utah and had a BLAST!!

Acupuncture

Some of you might have already heard that Ray has been diagnosed with macular degeneration.  Which just means he may go blind one day.  He has already lost partial sight in his right eye and we have decided to try everything alternative that we can, since the doctor told him the following: "You have it, there is nothing we can do about it, and you will go blind since you got it at such a young age."  How encouraging is that.  Hence the acupuncture appointment.  I was really impressed with the accupuncturist and so was Ray (I was really worried about him freaking out).  We will be trying some other things also, like essential oils, cranial sacral massage and anything else we thing might be beneficial.  Ray told me he refused to let them put needles in his feet, but as you can see they did it anyway.

When I took this picture, he asked why I was taking a picture of his head, he didn't even realize he had these in.  Goes to show that they really don't hurt.  He was such a trooper!!

Densons

So, I totally stole this collage from Tammy's facebook page.  I am going to figure out how she did it and maybe snazz up my facebook page and my blog.

Tammy & I
These are the pictures from my phone (Droid) the ones above are from Tammy's camera (IPhone 5).
You be the judge, but I am going to have to admit her photos are much better.

Carol and Ciera

Tiff and Tonia
For those of you who don't understand the "Denson" Heading.  Tiffnie, Tonia and Tammy's maiden name is Denson.  Hence the Denson sisters.  They came to visit Tiff and were nice enough to let me spend the weekend with them and we had so much fun!!  Never a dull moment that's for sure!!

Relief Society with Mom

Every year for the last several years mom and dad get us kids "Gifts from the Heart".  Mom's relief society, which is also the ward we all grew up in, asked her to come and show some of those ideas last week.  She asked all of us to go with her and it was so much fun to be all together and also to see some of the ladies from our old ward.

Half of the display.

The other half of the display.  We have such clever parents with such amazing ideas.

How cute are these little people????

Once again this year my sister let me take pictures of her cute kids.  It is always a fun experience and by fun I mean they make me laugh the entire time.  This time however, I was so sick and was not really feeling my best, so sorry Nakia if they didn't turn out as good as they should have. But with kids this cute, how can they not turn out even with a sick photographer.

I think this picture is my favorite one they were are smiling and not being too silly.  I told Jerika to go through alld of the photos I took that were on my computer and turn the ones she thought were the best, so these are the ones she picked.  So, we did get some pretty silly ones.  Gaven is hilarious when you tell him to smile, he always closes his eyes and they were so cute, we just had to make sure we posted those.  Rylen is just out of control, but so stinking cute and funny.  The older 3 were pretty good troopers and did a great job too.  Thanks guys, love ya.

Sugar Homecoming week

This was homecoming week at school for Kinlee.  She went all out and dressed up every day, except for Monday, which she forgot about.  It is kind of strange having a child that wants to do the dress up thing.  For some reason Jerika was never a fan of the whole “dress up” for homecoming week.  I don’t think she is a party pooper or anything like that, I just think she doesn’t want any added attention directed toward her.  Kinlee loved it though.  Their dress up days were 80’s day, Disney day, Twin day, and Sugar spirit day.  The only day I didn’t take pictures was twin day and we must have been running behind that day or something.  But we did get 3 out of the 4 days, which is good for me lately.  I don’t take as many pictures as I used to, I need to repent and start being better about that.  Sadly the football team did not win their homecoming game, but I did let Kinlee go and she was thrilled.
