January Post COVID

So I went to the doctor and then that afternoon the Health Department called  I have them the details of my COVID adventure and they wrote me a letter to go back to work. I didn't hate working from home. I just hated working on a laptop that was hard. And let's be honest I was so exhausted that most days I worked from my bed.

Kinlee Surgery Update

2020 Travel

2020 travel for me was good. Which seems pretty crazy since it was a Pandemic. Luckily we made it in our cruise. Then I was able to go to St.George twice. Once on a girls trip and once as couples. I think it helped keep me sane quite frankly.

Back to Reality

I had to get ready to go back to work at the University. I was so tired when I got home  Covid exhaustion is a real thing and so is COVID brain.

Kari

I'm not sure if I've introduced Kari on our blog yet. She works for Ray at the nursing home and she has become Kinlee's best friend. We have kind of adopted her. For reasons such as this she's painting Kinlee's toenails because she can't do it herself. She's been taking really good care of her this week after her surgery. Everyone needs a friend like her.

Kinlee's Back Surgery

BE KIND

This political crap that is going on right now is really disturbing.  I can't understand their side and they don't understand mine.  But I think we all just need to get along.

Sister Key Chain

I got these key chains for my sister's for Christmas  if you can't read them it says Big Sis Middle Sis & Little Sis.  They all make up one big heart

Meeting Jason Pinnock

We had big plans after Christmas which included meeting cute Jason.  But as you are well aware COVID hit us hard and we didn't get to do a lot of things we had planned.  But Brooke and John, the cutest grandparents, by the way, brought him to our back door so we could at least see his cute face in person.  I mean really how cute is he?

TMI post don't read if you don't wanna know

This is my COVID brain talking.... proceed with caution.
I was talking to Ray today about my boobs I wasn't going to share the content but it's necessary for the story..... anyway it went like this.
Me: My boobs hurt
Ray: Why
Me: Maybe because I haven't worn a bra since Christmas Eve thanks COVID
Ray: Oh great you're going to end up being one of those ladies in National Geographic.
Me: 🀣🀣🀣🀣😩
It was too good not to share. I really wanted to share on my social media but I refrained. Sorry you had to read it here.
I'm leaving the house tomorrow for the first time since Christmas Eve. Kinlee is having back surgery and we are staying in a hotel the night before.
That's tomorrow surgery is Thursday. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

COVID guard

I have been working at home as long as I can stay awake.  Jake must know I'm sick because he doesn't leave my side.  Even when I let him outside he doesn't stay out long.  He's not going to like me when I go back to work next week.

COVID sucks but we were so lucky

We tried this experiment to try and get our taste back.  Many people tried it on Tictok and people were telling us it worked,

Cook the orange with a blow torch cut it open and eat it with brown sugar.

Sometime this year

I've lost all track of everything in my world whilst taking that math class.  I did get these few pictures into collages during a devoti...
