Cemetery and Viewing

We spent day before the funeral with each other most of the day.  We had a family viewing with just Ray, me, Jerika, Kinlee, Peggy, Ren, Becky and Dean.  It was nice because we were able to see her in a better "light" than we had the morning she passed.  When we got to the house that morning she was still there, I think Terry wanted to wait for Ray to get there before he had them take her.  So, it was good for all of us.
We stopped at the cemetery on our way home afterward so that we could make sure there was cell reception because we needed to Facetime Live the funeral for Mauna's sister Nelda and niece Laina.

People are Kind

This is dinner from Sister Griggs my ministering sister the Sunday after Mauna passed away.  She was kind to bring us dinner it was so thoughtful and tasted so good.
We got many phone calls and texts from friends and family.
The day shed passed away Nakia and my mom came to visit us at her house.  There were several other visitors at the house that day.  My friends, Tiff and Brooke also came and saved the day.  They helped me with things I needed help with while Greg and John were able to help Ray.  It was so nice to have them there and they bought us dinner and took care of so many things that evening.  Peggy, Ren and Becky were there that day also.  And then Nichole, Torey and the kids showed up too which also helped.  Then Saturday Tiff and Brooke cleaned my house while we were in Idaho Falls picking out the casket (meeting with the funeral home).  And that was really the worst thing!!!!!!!!!  I know no one would ever chose to have to do that but it literally is one the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life.  Scott and Michelle came over Saturday night and that was really nice too.  Sunday we stayed home and just caught up on sleep.  Torey and Nichole left that day but spent some time with Terry before they left.  Their ward has been so very helpful also.  Their bishop has been AMAZING and so has the relief society president.
