Project Citizen

For Kinlee to graduate she has to do a senior project.  The senior projects at Sugar and Madison (because Jerika did one too) are group projects that pertain to making the town you live in a better place.  I am just glad they got it done and only after a little bit of drama.  And they did a fabulous job.

I did video her portion and one day I will figure out how to post videos on here, but today is not that day.

This Snow Won't Stop Feb. 25

I know it is still February but this is ridiculous.  It just keeps snowing and snowing.  Jake is getting tired of it and so are we.  I guess it won't be a drought this year.

This was mom and dad's house on February 26.  It made me feel better about the amount of snow we have.  It is crazy that there is that much difference and we only live 10 miles apart.

When It Rains It Pours

I was wondering why I took a month break from blogging and maybe this is why....I didn't want to blog about more drama.  So, we got the basement bathroom all done and Kinlee came upstairs and said her toilet wouldn't flush.  So, we just went to church and decided we would figure it out when we got home.  Well, that night we heard gurgling going on in her bathroom and then yup up the drain it came onto our newly tiled floor.  UGH.  So Monday morning we called the Rooter Man.  They snaked the pipes and their are roots in the pipes so they cleaned them out but said we need to dig up and replace them in the spring.  So much fun.
