Shrek the Musical

This is the only picture I took this year during the Pioneer Day celebration in St. Anthony.  I usually take pictures of us at the parade and after the parade and sometimes the floats.  I am turning into such a slacker.  I don't take my camera with me much anymore, since I have my cell phone, I don't scrapbook either.  Thank goodness for my blog or there would be no record of anything anymore.  However, the 3 of us did go to the play in St. Anthony and it was really good!!  Two of Kinlee's teachers from school were in it and the one was the donkey and hilarious.  We had a fun time and it was good to spend time with these two, they are pretty forgiving and put up with all my crap.

The Williams were finally able to adopt cute Haven and have her sealed to them.  It was an amazing day and we were so lucky to be a part of it.  I actually went to the courthouse too and was able to be a part of that also. I really can't imagine having 8 kids, but Amada is such a good mom and I learn from her all the time!!

Jake....who knew

Those of you who know me well know that I really dislike animals.  Sure, they are sometimes cute, but I really haven't taken a liking to animals at all.  We did have cats when I lived at home and we have some pretty funny cat stories, too bad we didn't have video cameras in the olden days or we would have some funny video of my dad chasing said cats.  Hilarious!!

Anyway, I love, love, love this dog.  I didn't realize how much fun a house dog could be.  We at my house, as in everyone but me, are allergic to cats and most dogs.  But Mr. Jake does not shed and we keep him OCD clean, so there aren't any problems with that.

I am just glad we decided to get him and can't imagine what we would do without him.  Ray does take him on the truck with him so we only get to see him on the weekends, but he did get to spend extra time at home this summer.  Isn't he so cute?
